About Me

Greetings!  First and foremost, I want to personally thank you for visiting my author website and for coming along with me on this new journey of becoming a writer.  It has been a dream of mine for years, and at the urging of many friends and family, I finally decided to take the leap.  For years I have been sharing little quips and fun stories about my family on Facebook, and after much prayer and contemplation, I decided to turn those little stories into a novel.  What started out as a funny homage to my family has now turned in to a full-fledged story, with new characters that not only compliment the narrative, but bring a nuance that really enhances the tale I was trying to tell.  My prayer is that you will not only laugh out loud while reading, but also enjoy a little escapism from the stress and busyness that comes with everyday life.

I currently reside in North Georgia with my husband and two children.  When I'm not writing, you will find me either cheering my daughter on at soccer games, listening patiently to my son regale me with stories of his wild antics, hiking and frequenting North Georgia wineries with my husband, reading anthropological thrillers, or relaxing with a good paint by numbers
